This is a first post in a series of articles outlining the creative vision of Defimons and why it’s arguably the future of blockchain gaming. The team has grown exponentially over the last few weeks and is working hard on the upcoming launch. First things first, so let’s dive into a general overview of Defimons.
For starters, Defimons is a game. An immersive gaming experience developed to entertain people all over the world. It’s not another “something-that-looks-like-a-game-built on-top-of-a-dex” project. Defimons is a retro styled platformer that will warm your nostalgic heart, using blockchain to power the experience.
With a rich pixelated world, accompanied by a banging 8-bit soundtrack, Defimons catapults you back to your childhood memories. Taking on the role as a monster hunter, your quest is to discover the open world and fight the things that are standing between you and becoming the ultimate adventurer. Battle monsters, engage with different characters, craft different items, play minigames, its all a part of our world.
At the core of our game sits an advanced battle engine, developed to be challenging yet rewarding for players to incentivize them to engage in both PvP and PvE actions!
But Defimons is so much more than this. Built around the idea of developing an actual metaverse that people will love spending time in. An interactive world where players, projects and products melt into an entertaining experience.
In this world, you’ll be able to own apartments, drag and drop furniture, decorate your apartments with NFTs, style your character with outfits from the favorite NFT projects and stream music directly from your Spotify playlists.
This, and much more, is coming to you in the near future.
The first step in this journey is approaching fast. As some of you already know, we have been carefully planning our IDO to make this as fair and easy to access as possible. We listened to the community and re-thought the entire IDO process, thanks to your valuable feedback. The team is working hard to establish the best way of conducting the IDO, with partnerships and a solid infrastructure that can handle the demand.
We put our community first and foremost. This is the reason why we argue that people who contribute to the project in various ways, e.g. creating memes, fan art, sharing the project, engaging in Discord etc. should be rewarded for doing so by being given access certain aspects of the game before others.
