March was a month full of testing and bug reports. The team at Defimons conducted tests with a closed set of web3-only users and web2-only users, receiving extremely positive feedback from all ends. Lets take a look at what our team has worked on for the past month:
Overworld Activities
Moving around in an empty game world can be boring. What if you could find hidden items around the map?
Our game development team has been working on adding in many different overworld activities around the map. Which means, smaller puzzles, games, and more, allowing you to unlock locations, find hidden rewards and more!
Apartment Explorer
Loved editing your apartments? Soon, you’ll be able to visit them and even invite friends over!
The frontend and backend development teams have been working on the apartment explorer for the past few months, and we’re excited to share that it is fully ready.
NPC System
One of the biggest inspirations for the game design of Defimons is Stardew Valley. Our team loves the in-depth design of each character NPC, the routes they follow and all the interactions a player can do.
For the past month, the backend development team has been working on revamping the NPC system where NPCs follow predefined routes throughout the day, thus adding another layer on top of an already immersive quest system.
Smaller bugs and Improvements
Our team has tested out the overworld with two different sets of players belonging to two different markets (web2 and web3). During the process, we fixed over 20+ bugs (including 5 critical bugs) in less than 2 days.
In addition to this, our team has started working on adding in smaller improvements as well, including monster followers, depth based lighting and more.

Our holders-only alpha goes live on 3rd April 2023, with the snapshot being taken on the day before. Make sure to grab an apartment before that!
